The Protector pool alarm is very easy to install. It simply sits on the pool deck as shown in the picture. Once the pool alarm is installed it cannot be de-activated and will remain in the armed mode until you put it in sleep mode.

In order to put the unit in sleep mode you need the special magnetic key that comes with the unit. This is to ensure that not just anyone can put the unit in sleep mode.

If someone attempts to remove the unit the alarm will sound letting you know someone in the pool area has either fallen in or has attempted to remove the pool alarm.

The Pool Protector pool alarm comes with a remote receiver which can be mounted in your home up to 200 feet from the main unit. The receiver comes with a 12 volt power supply that needs to be plugged in.
